Step 1: Introduce yourself: fill out an application form
Eligible startups must have a full-time dedicated team and a working product, ideally with initial traction (in any industry). We want to know who you are, what your product does, and how you believe it can reinvent higher education.
Step 2: Tell us more
If we want to get to know you better after reviewing your application, we´ll call you back and ask you for more details. Your team, your vision for your company, and how you see the potential collaboration with IE are a few of the areas we are likely to explore.
Step 3: Get ready for the program!
We´ll select up to five startups to join us in the program. If you are one of them, your first task (jointly with IE´s Learning Innovation department and other relevant departments) will be to define the project: milestones, expected duration, approach, likely resources needed, etc. Since IE can finance the project through convertible notes (including living expenses, additional engineers’ salaries, and anything else needed to make the project a success), we´ll also discuss financials at this point.
Step 4: Let’s do it!
The program begins on September and lasts for 3 months (or up to 6 months if absolutely needed). If invited to join the program, you (that’s the founder) and part of your team should move to Madrid for the duration of the program. Under some circumstances, we can agree on a part-time physical residence in Madrid, but we recognize that a big part of the value of the program comes from an intense immersion in the academic world and daily collaboration with the Learning Innovation team.
